Getting care for your health or a loved one’s health can be hard. Sometimes, that hardship feels like it is due to your race, or racism. It can feel like there are hidden rules or extra steps you need to take. If you have experienced hardship getting care because of discrimination or lack of respect for any reason, please share your story here.
Stories can be about the barriers to receiving quality medical care, how race affects care, and what needs to be done to improve care.

Anyone 18 years or older who provides care, receives care, or advocates for patients in CHCs or FQHCs is welcome to share stories of their experiences, or the experiences of someone for whom they provide care.
